If I type a space and run through the letters of the alphabet I get more great keywords. So, suppose I want to write a set of articles on skincare, then I can type in “is X good for your skin”, for example. I can right click on the average monthly searches column and sort from high to low. So lets take “dukan diet” because this is a competitor of my clients product so lets put the keyword “dukan” on the the negative keyword list. Now, in the future, when I bring in new keywords my project will blacklist the phrases that contain that word “dukan” but now lets search for some keywords that we can use on our website. If I type “carb” into the filter box and, ,say, add the word “vegetarian” we will get “low carb vegetarian recipes” – that would make a great article topic! So, I make a new category for vegetarian recipes and create a new content article. My new article will encompass all six of these keywords so I select them all and drag them into my article. Simple!

The keywords have been associated with my new article and assigned to the white list, which I can see if I click the white swatch, but next I create some seo optimized article content. I can expand the content panel and set the publication date and meta description right from in the software.

After I create some content I can look at my article tree and see which keywords I still need to include. If the word is colored black that means that I didn’t use it in my content so I need to, in this case, add the word “plan”to my article.

Okay, next I want to make sure I include all of the top keywords because, naturally, they have a lot of searches per month. Green keywords mean that the entire phrase was found in the content so, if the phrase is green then I press the highlighter icon,  that keyword is located in the content and the software will highlight all the instances.

Of course, I should probably look around and find some more keywords for my article but this is article is just to give you a feel for whats possible. Eventually, my website’s content strategy will start to take shape and before you know it I will have several SEO optimized articles on topics that reflect what people are actually searching for on the internet right now.

Once our content is ready to go live I can export it to a WordPress XML file and then I can import it directly into my WordPress website and that’s my content online – simple, fast and very easy to do.
